Over the past two year Lost On You has become somewhat like a secret weapon. DJs across the world have used their releases to make a change, both on the dancefloor and in towns and villages across poverty-stricken lands in Africa and beyond. While lots have felt the power of Lost On You, not many folk know that LoY are the first - and to date, only - record label to donate 100% of their profits to charitable causes.

In this next release, Raphael Mader adds another three secret weapons to the arsenal, crafting a house of cards that could topple at any minute. This is the Patiently Waiting EP. Approach with caution.

The first track 'Patiently Waiting', titled after the EP, carries an emotional weight like no other. The track delivers an emotional vibe and a melancholic progression. Raphael Mader does an impressive job to create a perfect dancefloor track.

The second track 'Insecurity ' carries the cosmic feel forward with atmospheric rolls and melodies over beautifully textured beats. Mader takes your hand and whisks you into his melancholy tinged universe, where mysterious instruments come to pray before the sanctity of the sweep and layered claps roll over laughing on their side.

The third and final track Devotion leaves you clinging onto the hope of a crescendo that always almost arrives. Smoke clouds the room. This is a very personal techno - minimal, spiritual, transcendental. Gorgeous analog bass rips add another level of energy to the track. Hats shake against the obstinacy of the way of things gives way to something more hopeful.

This is where the ethos of Lost on You comes together- Raphael mader's production offers a glimpse of the light at the end of the tunnel and seems to speak for a world where things might get better.
